Saftey Warning
It has come to our attention that a potential safety issue may exist with recent 45ACP Value Line production lots codes BA47H and BA47I. Brass with the headstamp "P.M.C. 45 Auto" appears to have insufficient case strength and may rupture near the head when fired in barrels that do not fully support the case head. PBR has always urged customers to avoid shooting our ammunition in weapons that do not properly support the case head but this is the first time we have been notified of a failure in the field by a customer. PBR tests all production lots of ammunition and did not experience any failures of this nature with the production lots in question but we utilize fully supported barrels in our test weapons. If you have ammunition with those lot codes and headstamp and would like to exchange it for ammunition that does not use that headstamp, please contact us to arrange an exchange. If you have any doubts about the case head support offered by your weapon, DO NOT FIRE THE AMMUNITION, return it to us for replacement. Since PBR cannot guarantee the condition of any firearm not in our control, we shall not honor for any claims of damage or injury resulting from the end-user's choice to continue firing the aforementioned ammunition.
