This ammunition is manufactured by PBR using processed fired brass, a fully encapsulated Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) plated bullet, new production OEM powder and primers on commercial class loading machines. The cartridge casings used in this ammunition are sourced exclusively from indoor ranges and are processed on fully automated Camdex machines that ensure casings have a centered and properly sized flash hole, are not cracked or have a loose primer pocket, and are fully sized to the base of the casing to the minimum cartridge SAAMI specification. In addition, the the casings are washed using industrial finishing equipment both before and after processing to remove virtually all traces of firing residue, internally and externally, so that they are as clean and brilliant as brand new casings. Powder choice and charge are optimized to provide the ideal balance between recoil and velocity while at the same time providing an extremely clean burn to minimize post-range cleanup time. The bullet used in this ammunition has a hard, high quality swaged lead core and a thick plating layer completely enclosing it that will not separate even at high velocities. Each bullet is struck multiple times during manufacturing to ensure it is perfectly shaped and results in a bullet without the wrinkles, waves, or aberrations found on lower quality, thinly plated, soft cored bullets. Combine those benefits with superb accuracy, zero exposed lead, a competitive price, and it is clear why this is Perfect Practice Ammunition™.
All cartridges are carefully inspected and then gaged to ensure that they are within all dimensional specifications for the cartridge prior to being boxed. With PBR's stringent quality control, you can be confident that every round of ammunition will function flawlessly in your firearm.
This loading of 9mm features an extremely soft recoil and a subsonic velocity. It is perfect for competition with a power factor of about 130 and is ideal for use in suppressed weapon systems where a quiet, accurate loading is desired.
This ammunition is also called 9x19mm and 9mm Parabellum but it is not the same as 9x18mm Makarov, 9x21mm, or 9mm Largo. This ammunition is subsonic in pistol length barrels as well as most carbines and is appropriate for use in suppressed platforms.
Priced per 100 round box.
